Nubia Z17 smartphone was launched in June 2017. Nubia Z17 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Nubia UI 5.0 on top. It has a feature called NeoPower 3.0, dedicated to suspend background processes and to give the 3,200 mAh battery up to two days of usage with one charge. Thanks to Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4+, the power cell can be charged from 0% to 50% in just 25 minutes. It measures 152.60 x 72.40 x 7.60 mm and weigh 173g.
Nubia Z17 is only the second phone by a Chinese manufacturer to pack the Snapdragon 835 SoC after the Xiaomi Mi 6. Nubia Z17 is powered by 1.9GHz octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage, which cannot be expanded. The handset boots on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system features a fingerprint sensor embedded at the back. The 23 MP + 12 MP camera combo supports 2x optical zoom and up to 10x Dynamic zoom, just like the iPhone 7 Plus. The selfie snapper is 16 MP with f/2.0 aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens. Nubia Z17 comes with a 5.5 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels.
Nubia Z17 is a dual SIM mobile. Connectivity options include dual SIM, 4G, VoLTE, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, mobile hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, Infrared and FM., GPS with A-GPS, Glonass, NFC and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
There is a Dolby Atmos speaker for crisp sound and IR blaster if you decide to use the Nubia Z17 as a remote control. The phone now has IP67 certification and can dive up to 1 meter under water. ZTE proudly announced this feature at the event that strategically took place at the National Aquatics Center.
Nubia Z17 is a high end badget with fast charging support. The performance and the gaming experience of the phone is very good.This model is indeed a very nice choice for camera lovers who love to get quality picture result, irrespective of day or night mode. The user can enjoy 4G VoLTE for long hours and the fingerprint sensor is also quick to respond. However, a bit more battery backup would have been an additional package.
